  • Local food trucks: Southern Kreole, Reggie’s Soulfood, Nina Creole, Chez Mawje

Youngsville Independence Celebration

Youngsville Sports Complex, 801 Savoy Road
July 3rd, 5:00 – 9:00 PM
Jamming in Youngsville? Enjoy live music (Clay Cormier & The Highway Boys, Colby Latiolais & Ambush, Charley Rivers & Charley Cache), kids’ zone, bubble buses, food trucks, and an early fireworks display

Broussard Independence Day Festival

Broussard Sports Complex, St. Nazaire Road
July 4th, gates open at 5:00 PM
Family-first festival with DJs, live music, children’s activities, and a fireworks grand finale

Fireworks Safety & Regulations

The Lafayette Fire Department strongly advises against private fireworks inside city limits—they’re illegal in Lafayette, Broussard, and Carencro. Instead, experience the vibrant public shows—safe, spectacular, and community‑supported.

Safety reminders:

  • Keep kids 200 ft from ignition sites

  • Use flat surfaces—not hands—for lighting

  • Always have water nearby and douse duds thoroughly

  • Never aim fireworks at people or animals

We wish you a safe, fun, and neighborly Fourth of July! If you're thinking about moving or just want tips on the best neighborhoods for seasonal fun and community gatherings, we’re here to help. Message us anytime—your dream home is right around the corner. Happy Independence Day, Acadiana!
