Get ready for one of Louisiana’s most beloved cultural celebrations—the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival returns this weekend, May 2–4, 2025, at Parc Hardy in Breaux Bridge, the official Crawfish Capital of the World! Whether you’re a longtime local or a first-time visitor, this three-day event offers the perfect blend of Cajun flavor, music, and family fun.​

With over 30 bands performing across three stages, the festival is a paradise for fans of Cajun, Zydeco, and Swamp Pop music. Headliners include Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie, Wayne Toups & Zydecajun, and Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band. Don’t miss the Cajun dance lessons and contests happening daily in the Breaux Bridge Tent. ​

From boiled to étouffée, boudin to jambalaya, crawfish takes center stage in every imaginable form. The Crawfish Étouffée Cook-Off and Crawfish Eating Contest are must-see (and taste) events. Be sure to sample other Cajun favorites like gumbo, red beans and rice, and crawdogs. 

The festival is packed with activities for all ages: crawfish races, arts & crafts booths, carnival rides, and the annual parade. Family Nights on Wednesday and Thursday offer unlimited ride wristbands from 5–11 PM—perfect for early fun before the main weekend events.
